Is Tribe Ministry School for me?
Do you want to get equipped for a lifetime of building the Kingdom?
Do you want to embark on a wild, transformative heart journey?
Do you want to get radically activated in your creative ministry gifts?
With over fifteen years experience in delivering ministry skills training, we have accredited courses that not only equip and train students for a range of ministry roles, but bring students on a transformational and creative journey. God is calling us to be trained and equipped for the work of the Kingdom and to be released into our creative call. With that in mind, we have designed our courses to be as accessible as possible to believers of all ages and from all walks of life.
To ensure that our students are able to benefit fully from their Tribe Ministry School commitment, there are a few prerequisites that need to be met before acceptance to the course.
The first is that you are a genuine believer and are walking with Jesus as your Lord and King. You will need to be convinced that the Bible is the written word of God and that it holds authority in your life. You should also be convinced that the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit are for believers today. You should be committed to building a life of intimacy with Jesus. Intimacy is the foundation of our transformational journey and of the prophetic and creative calling.
Tribe Ministry School is not simply a Bible college, but it is a mentoring college. We believe that Jesus commissioned us to “make disciples” of all the earth and that this commission is given effect through training and equipping students through community and teaching.
CREATIVITY AND RISK
Creativity is central to our kingdom calling. God has revealed Himself as a creative God who is seeking sons and daughters to reflect His heart. Every subject offered through Tribe Ministry School is infused with the values and ethos of cultivating our personal creative expression of the Kingdom. We seek to create a safe space for students to explore their creative gifts in the context of exploring the call to build the Kingdom. The journey of growing in creativity is vulnerable and uncomfortable but is is an invitation into courageous and and transformational living.
It helps if you are courageously committed to taking risks. We don’t believe that Jesus would require less of His 21st Century followers than He required of His first century followers.Tribe Ministry School has a strong focus on practical equipping in evangelism and the supernatural demonstration of the Kingdom. Jesus trained His disciples and then He sent them out in power. In the same way we also want to train people with the purpose of commissioning them to heal the sick and do the works of the Kingdom.
As Tribe Ministry School offers accredited courses our training material includes a number of written assessment components that a student must be competent in to graduate. While the assessments are not greatly challenging they require students to read several current Christian classics, give a number of class presentations and write approximately 500 words per week of structured responses. This correlates to the equivalent of a Year 10 English proficiency. Further information on the types of essays and reflections that the course requires is available under the “Graduation Requirements” tab.
We have had students from as young as 17 to people in their 60s. The majority of our students are in the 18-35 age group, but no one who is able to meet the course requirements is disqualified by age. We have a strong emphasis on pastoral care and deeply care that every student experiences the support and mentoring to complete the program.
